The Maison

Four houses,
one curated address.

Each house under the Mawlaii roof was chosen for what it refused to compromise on — materials we can name, makers we can vouch for, objects worth keeping. The list is small on purpose.

Adviah — Lakadong turmeric powder in a wooden bowl with fresh root, warm afternoon light on a weathered table

Adviah

Spice that tastes like the place it came from. Adviah's tins hold the kind of single-origin produce most Indian kitchens have never quite encountered — Lakadong turmeric so concentrated that a quarter-teaspoon does what a full one of the supermarket version used to. Naga chilli that earns the word "king." Cinnamon from the cool hills where it actually grew. Each item is ground in small mills, in small batches, by people whose names we know. The dabba on your kitchen shelf gets a quiet upgrade. And stays upgraded.

Rochcha — a desk scene with insulated bottle, steaming ceramic mug, open notebook, linen and a small evil eye charm in soft window light

Rochcha

Small objects, kept on purpose. Rochcha is for the cup that sits on your desk for years, the bottle that comes on every walk, the pin badge a friend asks about across a dinner table. Insulated bottles that actually keep coffee hot through the working day — not three hours. Hand-finished evil eye charms in real enamel. A coffee mug that says what your colleague is thinking on a Monday morning. The kind of things you stop noticing because they always work — and miss when they're not there.

Kaiyo Tokyo — an open tech pouch on a weathered wooden table with coiled cable, dongle, power bank, beside a leather notebook and fountain pen

Kaiyo Tokyo

Carry, finally organised. Anyone who has ever rooted through a bag at airport security for a charger, or untangled headphones with one hand while holding a coffee with the other, will recognise what Kaiyo Tokyo quietly solves for. The Ginza family is built around a two-compartment, water-resistant architecture — chargers and dongles held in elastic loops on one side, the unstructured rest of life on the other. Small, structured, quietly handsome in the right meeting. The pouch you stop thinking about because it's doing its job.

Farnup

For the dog who already runs the household. Farnup is bandanas in a cotton-blend fabric soft enough not to bother the coat, durable enough to survive a hundred wash cycles. Birthday prints for the day nobody but the photo album remembers. "Big Sister" for the dog who came first. "Best Dog Ever" for the dog you mean it about. And a custom-print option for the design only one dog should be wearing. The smallest accessory for the largest affection in your life.
