Cancellation & Refund Policy

We want every order to feel right. Because we ship products across several categories — including consumables — this policy distinguishes between two groups.
Cancellation by you
- Before dispatch: orders may be cancelled at no cost. Email support@mawlaii.com as quickly as possible after placing the order. Full refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- After dispatch: orders cannot be cancelled once they have left our fulfilment partner.
Returns — consumable products (food & wellness)
This applies to products from Adviah (spices, blends, honey, superfoods, latte mixes) and any similar consumable product.
In line with food safety norms and standard industry practice, consumable products are not returnable — whether opened or unopened — once the parcel has been delivered to you. We follow this rule because consumables cannot be put back into circulation once they have left our fulfilment chain, and your safety as a future customer of the same batch depends on it.
The only exception: if the item arrives damaged, defective, broken-sealed or incorrect, you are entitled to a full replacement or refund. See Damaged, defective or wrong items below for the process.
Returns — non-consumable products
This applies to products from Rochcha (drinkware), Kaiyo Tokyo (carry), Farnup (companions), and any similar non-consumable product.
You may return any non-consumable product within 7 days of delivery if:
- The product is unused and in its original condition
- The original packaging, tags and protective wrapping are intact
- You have proof of purchase (your order confirmation email is sufficient)
Damaged, defective or wrong items
Regardless of category — including consumables — if you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, we will arrange a free return and either replace it or refund you in full. Please email support@mawlaii.com within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photographs of the outer packaging, the item received, and any visible damage
- A short description of the issue
For consumables specifically, please do not discard the product or its packaging until we have responded; we may need to inspect or have our courier partner collect it for quality review.
How to initiate a return
For non-consumable products, email support@mawlaii.com with your order number and the reason for return. Our team will respond within 1 business day with instructions and a return shipping label (where applicable). Returns sent without contacting us first cannot be processed.
Refund timeline
Once we receive and inspect the returned item (or, for damaged consumables, once we have verified the claim from your photographs), we will process your refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Banks may take an additional 2–4 days to credit the amount.
Non-refundable charges
Original shipping charges, where applicable, are non-refundable except in the case of damaged, defective or incorrect items.
