Why it matters

The 900ml capacity sits in a useful middle ground — too small to feel like a gym bottle, too large to fall short on a long meeting. A travel mug for a working day rather than a sport day. The vacuum cavity is true double-walled (not foam, not single-skin) so it earns the temperature claims, and the matte powder-coat outer doesn't slip out of your hand on a wet morning.

The detail

18/8 food-grade stainless steel inner skin. Powder-coated matte exterior, sweat-free in summer (no condensation transfer through the vacuum cavity). The lid seals with a silicone gasket and a screw thread; the reusable BPA-free straw fits through a sealed opening so it doesn't spray if the mug tips sideways in a bag.

How to use it

Coffee, tea, cold brew, lassi, water. Hand-wash the body with mild soap; the lid and straw are dishwasher-safe (top rack). Pre-warm with boiling water for two minutes before adding hot liquid to maximise heat retention.

Care

Do not microwave or freeze.
Pre-warm for hot drinks: boiling water in for 2 minutes, drain, then fill.

Will it really keep coffee hot for 12 hours?

If you pre-warm the mug first — yes. Pour boiling water in for two minutes, drain, then fill. Without pre-warming, expect 9–10 hours of effective heat. The first 30 seconds of contact between hot liquid and a cold steel wall cost you several degrees that the insulation then has to recover.

Will it leak in my bag?

No. The lid seals with a silicone gasket and a screw thread, and the straw opening seals automatically when the lid is shut. Tested with the mug horizontal in a backpack at hot temperatures without leaking.

Is the straw replaceable?

Yes — straws are sold as replacement parts. The mug body is built to outlast the consumable parts.

Is the powder coat food-safe?

The drink-contact surface is bare 18/8 stainless steel — the same grade used in restaurant equipment. The powder coat is on the outside only.

Will it fit in a car cup holder?

Yes — the base is sized to a standard cup-holder diameter (~80mm). Most modern cars, including small hatchbacks, will accept it.

Returns
